The father of the bride seeing his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time is always an interesting photo. Reactions range from 'you look decent' to people balling their eyes out for several minutes. The thing I enjoy is the uncertainly of what's going to happen once the father has walked through that door. It's quite common for people to react in entirely the opposite way of what's expected which always makes these photos more entertaining.
This wedding was my first at Fawsley Hall and I'm told that this wasn't the room that's usually used for bride prep. I say 'room' but in all honesty it was a suite that was many times larger than my house. It was enormous. For this particular image I was able to make use of a mirror that's conveniently placed right by the door, enabling me to both capture the reaction of the bride's father, but also that of the mother of the bride and the bridesmaids in the reflection. When the father of the bride entered the room, he was quite literally speechless. Hardly surprising - Danielle looked amazing in her gorgeous gown!
