I've said it before - I do a lot of weddings at Bredenbury (which is ace as I LOVE it there) but a problem started to develop after 5 years of working at the venue when the same brick archway started appearing in every-other image I was posting on social media. It's one of the draws of the venue, and from a photographers perspective it's just the perfect location. I could talk at length about how the arch 'perfectly frames the couple' and the brickwork 'creates leading lines into the image' but lets be honest - it's just a cool place to take pictures. But I had to start doing something a bit different to make sure all of my wedding photos there didn't end up looking exactly the same, so I stole the idea for the photo you see here from another photographer. Although I think theirs was landscape.
You have to admit it though - it's a cool arch.
