Broadfield Court Wedding

Beautiful photos from Broadfield Court and a rant about Google

The age old saying is: 'a picture speaks a thousand words'

Google: 'Write 200 words of content per image or we won't rank your website.'

So here I am trying to write a paragraph or two about these lovely black and white photos that should literally speak for themselves. Sarah and Matthew were originally scheduled to get married during Covid, and unfortunately, like many couples, had to postpone their big day. What they also had to deal with was the owner of the wedding venue they'd initially booked, selling the venue to a private owner who wanted to use it as a personal residence. Oh, and without telling anyone. So that was a fun few phone calls I had to make. 'Oh by the way have you heard your wedding venue has closed?'

Sarah and Matthew chose a rather spectacular place to get married when the time came - Broadfield Court (or just 'Broadfield' - I actually don't know which one is correct... the website is broadfieldcourt.com but the website refers to the venue as 'Broadfield'. Confusing.) Okay I'm at 174 words.

Sarah, mum and the bridesmaids all got ready at the venue. The soft lighting and neutral decor made it a dream to shoot in. Honestly Broadfield is the most gorgeous place to work, and I'd love to shoot more weddings there. I just lament having to write content for my website. Especially when most people who do it just make it sound like a collection of keywords for Google to read.

Here's Sarah in her stunning gown, doing a bit of a spin on the main drive to the venue.

And in the interest of fairness, here's a photo of them both immediately after the wedding. Boom, I've done it. 287 words.
