Bredenbury Court Barn confetti photo

The orangery at Bredenbury Court is the room that is used for the wedding ceremonies that take place indoors - there is the option to get married outside on one of the lawns if you'd so desire. As Roz and Arjan were getting married in October, it was always their plan to get married inside which is absolutely no bad thing - the Orangery at Bredenbury Court is a beautiful place in which to get married. There are huge windows the entire length of the room, as well as skylights too - this means that the Orangery is unlike most other wedding ceremony rooms in that it's really bright. The quality of the light is just perfect too. A lot of the time, when a venue does actually allow confetti to be thrown indoors, it's too dark to take the best quality photos, but that's not a problem here.

Confetti had been left on the seats and the registrars had asked people to throw it as the bride and groom made their way back down the aisle at the end of the ceremony. I positioned myself at the back of the room with a long lens in order to get the best wedding photos possible. The bright conditions in the Orangery at Bredenbury Court means you can use a high shutter speed and get better action images.
