Deer Park Hall to most wedding photographers means one thing - sunsets! The sunsets here are fantastic and like no where else. The best thing about Deer Park is the sheer location, up on the side of Bredon Hill and overlooking three counties. The elevated position that Deer Park Hall enjoys means you really get the very best from each sunset. There's a small wall that runs down the one side of the wedding venue, which is a good place for photos - standing the bride and groom on the wall means you can get a little bit lower than them, which means, by shooting up at a higher than usual angle, you get to see more of the sky and more of that amazing sunset!
These photos, where the source of light is behind the bride and groom are usually best either as a full or half-silhouette. If you're going to take a wedding photo where the bride and groom are properly silhouetted, the shape of the couple becomes much more important. One of the classic images for any bride and groom is of course a kissing photo - and the added pizzaz of the amazing sunset colours.
