Emotional Moments That Last a Lifetime: A Bride's First Look with Her Father

Father of the bride/bride reveal > almost everything else.

This powerful black-and-white image captures the deeply emotional moment when a bride first sees her father on her wedding day. The tear in her eye speaks volumes, reflecting the profound connection and love shared in this intimate moment. As a wedding photographer, I specialise in capturing these genuine, heartfelt interactions that make your wedding day truly unique. Whether it's the first look with your parents, the exchange of vows, or the first dance, I am dedicated to preserving every significant moment in a way that is both timeless and evocative. My approach combines candid photography with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the true essence of your emotions is reflected in every shot.

Another particularly beautiful moment from this wedding was when the bride and groom exchanged cards and gifts with each other in the morning.

One of the best things about the getting-ready room at Carradine Barns is the light. There's not much of it, admittedly, but the quality more than makes up for it. I love mixing the gentle daylight with the deep reddish browns of the background, it really makes the subject pop.

After spending a couple of hours with the bridal party in the morning, I was able to head over to the honeymoon cottage where the groom was getting ready with his groomsmen. Venues such as Curradine that allow both sides of the wedding to get ready at the same location are an absolutely godsend to wedding photographers!

I thought I'd share this stunning sunset photo of the (now married) couple. It's hard to believe it's taken in what is essentially a car park!
