Pendrell Hall is a wonderful wedding venue in Staffordshire. The venue offers exclusive use, no corkage and on-site accommodation for wedding guests.
Charlene and her bridesmaids stayed at Pendrell Hall the night before the wedding, so there was no stress or hassle in trying to get to their venue on the morning of the wedding. When they'd all eaten breakfast, they moved from the on-site cottage to the bridal preparation room with the Hall itself.
The bridal preparation room is a lovely space, with wooden flooring and plenty of windows, it's a great space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in and an excellent place for photo. As well as providing space for the bridal party to get ready, the suite is well prepared for the needs of the bridal party, with multiple mirrors and chairs, plenty of power sockets for hair appliances and hooks 5 feet high on the wall so you can hang your wedding dress without it touching the floor.
This is one of my favourite shots of Charlene getting ready on the morning of her wedding. She looks like she's totally at peace and is completely relaxed as her maid of honour and bridesmaid help tighten the dress. I decided to shoot this image in portrait orientation to make sure that the wedding dress filled as much of the frame as possible.
